Thank you for your interest in Fovia's High Definition Volume Rendering® software.
Before you request additional information or a downloadable version, please read the following to help you decide which flavor of HDVR® best meets your needs.
Note: Unless otherwise specified, all versions of Fovia's technology are available for Windows, Linux and Macintosh. Please note that Fovia offers the following options:
Client-Server Workstation Application - a general volume viewer capable of loading DICOM or RAW datasets and rendering them using Fovia's technology.
Software Development Kit - a software development kit exposing Fovia's rendering engine for integration into custom applications requiring high quality volume rendering.
Fovia provides high-level, thin client APIs fully capable of remote rendering for the .NET framework as well as for Java. Alternatively, Fovia provides a low-level in-process C++ API.
OsiriX Plug-In - a Macintosh-only plug-in for the popular open source DICOM viewer OsiriX. Once a dataset is loaded into OsiriX, it can be viewed with Fovia's HDVR® software rather than with the default OsiriX volume viewer.
Commercial Use
If you are an OEM supplier interested in seamlessly embedding Fovia's volume visualization technology into your product, or would like information about Fovia's client-server workstation application or Fovia's OsiriX Plug-In for commercial use, please click here.
Research Version for Non-Commercial Use
Fovia, in its sole discretion, provides the above versions of its High Definition Volume Rendering® technology at no cost to universities and research institutions strictly for educational and research purposes. Currently, Fovia does not offer its HDVR® software to individuals.
While Fovia's software does not require expensive graphics cards or other specialized hardware, it is important that it be run on hardware with the appropriate CPUs and memory. Examples of hardware configurations that meet our current minimum specs are listed below:
Single i7-980X (4 total cores at 3.3Ghz) with 4GB of memory
Dual Xeon E5620 (8 total cores at 2.40Ghz) with 4GB of memory
Dual Opteron 6168 (12 total cores at 1.9Ghz) with 4GB of memory
