Summary
The XStream® HDVR® SDK does not use or require an installer application. The software distribution can be unzipped and placed wherever is appropriate on the user's development systems. Following are instructions to download and activate the application using the license file provided by your Fovia representative.
Installation
1. To maximize your integration efforts, we recommend that you begin by browsing through the full contents of the XStream HDVR SDK documentation, and don’t hesitate to contact a Fovia representative if you have any questions.
2. Create a folder on your desktop and name it Fovia. The ZIP archive file will be saved to this folder.
3. Your Fovia representative should have sent you a link to download the software. Please download the version appropriate for your operating system.
4. Use your favorite unzipping utility to decompress the ZIP file and save it in the Fovia folder. When you open up the decompressed file, you will find the following six folders:

Client-Server Workstation Application
Documentation
Examples
Preset Library
Server App
A detailed description of the contents and purpose of each folder is described in The Distributable Package.
5. Your Fovia representative should have provided a license file called “hdrclic.dat”. This file will activate the SDK. Copy the “hdrclic.dat” file into the “Server Application\32-bit” and “Server Application\64-bit” folders.
6. Congratulations! Your installation of the XStream HDVR SDK is complete and activated.
